Where is the cycle switch for the air conditioning located?

Are you sure it is the cycle switch you are talking about, as I do not know of such. Please explain in more detail what it does...

It makes the compressor cut on and off. The clutch is not cutting on so that the system will take the Freon

I don't know of such a switch, but in your case there might be a lack of pressure in the system. You should take your car to the mechanic and let them inspect and test it.

the compressor has been ticking constantly it is not locked up and this has been going on for 2 or 3 months. I have a friend who builds rock crawlers and does mechanic work and he says it sounds like the cycling switch on my ford f150 2007 model
