2000 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Q&A

2000 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Question: Air Conditioning

I have replaced every part on my A/C except the condensor. My compressor kicks on then off over and over but wont stay running. What do you think my problem could be? Thanks -

It sounds like you have low pressure in your system Have you checked the pressure with a set of gauges If you consistently have low pressure, ( after you properly evacuate and fill the system) then you most likely have a leak. You will need to do a leak check. The best way to do this is with a dye check kit. Do you have any training in A/C ? This is a pretty technical area in the automotive world. -
