This auto has 23,800 actual miles on it. Took this into Smart Honda and was told the air conditioner pump had a hole in it, the service rep showed a piece of metal to me. He said it blew up. That the complete unit needs to be replaced at a cost of $2,085.50. On the work order it says 'The pump is bad, it has a hole in the side of it also the pump locked up it will not turn will need replaced with the dryer'. Why would a vehecle with this low of mileage and no wear and tear need this repaired so early. What would make the pump blow up as they said?? Thank You,
