2001 Jeep Cherokee

Question: Air Conditioner only blows cold air for a little while.

Air Conditioner blows cold air for a little while then blows hot air. It will usually start blowing cold air again but always stops after a short period of time. What's up ?

    There are two things that can be causing this to happen. The most likely is that your a/c compressor is going out of working service and will soon not blow cold air at all.
    Another reason is that you have a refrigerant leak in your system somewhere and you have lost too much freon to consistently operate your compressor.

    ***The most likely reason is that your COMPRESSOR is going out.***

    Try getting the condenser recharged hopefully your just low on refrigerant.
