2004 Toyota Matrix Question: Air conditioner on a 2004 Toyota Matrix XR

A/C is blowing cold then warm. I charged the system but the fan is making a louder than normal sound now. I do not know what it may be. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Do you mean the fan inside the car under the dash is loud. If so I think it is easily removed, three philips screws secure the motor assembly, drop it down and see if debris is caught up in the motor or if a rodent has nested in the fan assembly. If it is the condenser or radiator fan investigate the motor to see if it is damaged or failing.
    You probably need to put pressure gauges on the high and low side of the A/C to look at refrigerant pressures. There is a company that independent auto repair shops get their information from, this same information is available inexpensively for people that work on their own cars.. The information is year make and model specific, covering repair procedures, torque specifications, fluid capacities and specifications, service bulletins, component locations, wiring diagrams ect....
