The A/C does not cool. Had it recharged in Spring 2007 but that didn't seem to make much difference at the time and absolutely no cooling now. What is wrong?

MasterAir conditioning systems operate under high pressure, some of this pressure over time permeates through the hoses and joints over time. The air conditioning condenser is delicate, but is located in the front of the vehicle (in front of the radiator) and is exposed to rocks pebbles and road debris.
It becomes expensive to bring an air conditioning system that hasn't been working for a while back to working efficiently. When the system is not working moisture can enter the system and cause damage. The system will have to be evacuated, checked for leaks, (any leaks will have to be repaired and any faulty components replaced) and the the system recharged with refrigerant.Flag ThisLike | 4 people like this4 -
