Question: Air conditioner and heater

Question

My air conditioner blows out air, but it is warm air. It works on every level (1,2,3,etc) as far as blowing air, but it is just not getting cool. I do not need refrigerant, as I've already tried this myself. Also, my heater works, but only on the highest setting (4). On lower settings it will not blow any air at all, hot or cold. Just nothing. I have no idea what is going on with my heating and cooling system, but I need to find out what it is and how to repair it asap! Any advice as far as possible solutions and prices?

Can you get the diagnostic codes for the climate control module read out? This is where I would start if I was trying to diagnose this problem.

I would definitely get the diagnostic codes if I knew how to. Sorry, kinda don't know how I go about getting those either. What do I need to do?

You will need to take it to a shop that has the tool that can read the codes. Most independents and any dealer will have one. This may cost a few dollars but it is the first step in a proper diagnosis of any computer controlled system. If you get the codes, post them here and I might be able to get you some more info.

You have tried what? You have put gauges on the A/C system & you have the right low and high side readings. What are the low side & high side readings?
