Air condition on 2006 Ford Fusion

I had some freeon put in my unit three months age , and now it isn't cold anymore. I told the mechanic I beleive I had a leak in my system, but he told me to try this first. How much should it cost me if I do have a leak.

first of all, go to another shop. it should have been checked before for a leak. you do have a leak that needs to be fixed and then have it charged and it will stay cold. Roy

Just like Roy said. At least he should put some leak detector dye into the system which could help now to trace down the leak easily with a black light. We can't tell you about the cost of the repair, because it depends where and what is leaking. First the leak needs to be located. Zee
