2006 Ford Fusion Q&A

2006 Ford Fusion Question: Air condition

I had some freeon put in my unit three months age , and now it isn't cold anymore. I told the mechanic I beleive I had a leak in my system, but he told me to try this first. How much should it cost me if I do have a leak. -
Answer 1
first of all, go to another shop. it should have been checked before for a leak. you do have a leak that needs to be fixed and then have it charged and it will stay cold. Roy -
Answer 2
Just like Roy said. At least he should put some leak detector dye into the system which could help now to trace down the leak easily with a black light. We can't tell you about the cost of the repair, because it depends where and what is leaking. First the leak needs to be located. Zee -
