Question: Air bag warning always on

The airbag warning that I think is associated with a warning when a child is in the front passenger seat, is always on. The seat isn't buckled and nothing is in the front seat. I checked the wires underneath the seat and they seem OK. Any easy fixes? It was taken into the dealer in the past and they couln't fix it and said something about if the seat is moved forward or back, something gets messed up. Didn't make sense to me.

Find an auto electrical shop or a Toyota specialist.

Same with me. They said it was the way it was wired under the front seats so that when they were moved it would loosen the connection. The dealer said there was no fix because of this. They did say they could run it under the rug and that might stabilize it if it really bugged me. I say it's not worth it, especially now on a 13 year old car.
