2005 Nissan Murano Q&A

2005 Nissan Murano Question: Air bag light on

After a super cold day in MN, I went to start my car (it had been sitting out) - it started but my air bag light came on. Does this mean it's broken or could it be a wire issue? If broken, any idea on how much to fix? Thanks! -
Answer 1
The air bag light being on is evidence of something not passing on an initial test of your air bag system when you start the car. This can be a sensor, an air bag itself, the sliding contact in the steering wheel, or a seat belt buckle. Hard to say what is wrong - you will need to have a diagnosis performed to get to the bottom of it. -
