car has 58,000 miles. Just bought it. We drive for 10-15 miles, then 10 minutes later try to restart, engine will not start. Wait 20-30 minutes, then it restarts. We replaced fuel pump/filter.

I'm assuming it cranks OK but won't fire up. Check for spark, and assuming you have spark when this happens, I'd suspect lack of fuel. If you have no spark, I'd suspect the MAIN Relay. Did the old pump/filter prove defective or was it a guess? Did it help for a while or not? I suspect the fuel pump relay which is located in the underhood fuse and relay box. When you swich the ign ON (but don't start the engine), you should be able to feel the fuel pump relay click and hear the fuel pump run for about a second, then the relay should click and the pump should shut off, this is normal. If the relay won't click when you are having trouble starting, it's likely the relay is failing. you may be able to swap in another similar relay or try replacing it with a new one to be sure.
