Rick Bilger, the owner, has been in the auto repair business all his life. His father and grandfather were both in the industry and Rick grew up around cars and in auto shops. Rick is an ASE Certified Master Technician and has been since 1987. It was overwhelmingly detailed with pictures and advice. Just can't afford to do it all. Might be wiser to trade it in or sell it to a mechanic.

The oil change price is very fair, but $25 to replace a light bulb ($20 for labor) seems outrageous. The price was conveniently omitted when you called to tell me I needed it, and I was embarrassed to ask and sound cheap, but I will from now on.

We were so impressed that we happened upon this shop by getting a tire replaced next door to them and was referred to Advanced Auto Pro by M and O Tire for an alignment. They were so knowledgeable about Hondas and we immediately felt confident in their service that we went ahead and had other repairs done. We are now going back to them for future repairs!

Again for a second time, incorrect oil was used, not the synthetic, on a new car! On ANOTHER even newer vehicle, the same problem happened about 6 months ago! That makes 3 times in about 1 year. This is unprofessional because the standard for new cars is synthetic oil. A customer would like to expect this knowledge from the technicians. And if there is doubt, it would be professional for the shop to look up past records. Even when it has been stated at time of drop off, 'Don't forget, my car needs synthetic oil!', the wrong oil is used! This inconveniences and impacts schedules in so many negative ways, especially when it has been repeated! As compensation one time, when the wrong oil was used and the vehicle was not ready, you did not charge, since it was your mistake. I respected that!! The other 2 times no compensation was given because of your mistake and inconvenience to mess up schedules. Also, no apology on the shops behalf. That is tacky. The receptionists are nice, but act like its part of everyday business .' Oh it seems like we need to change out the oil, wrong kind was put in. Come back later.' NOT, Wow...we are really sorry to inconvenience you...AGAIN! ..This is unacceptable for professionals..Also I do not like the dirty paper floor mat left in my car. I was in a hurry so had to leave the shop with it. Please be considerate and remove all trash. Grrr....sorry to be so critical. I guess because this has happened several times we are feeling very irritated.

Advanced Auto Pros has done a lot of work recently on my truck, which is old and has high mileage. They have always been helpful and don't pressure me to get work done immediately. I like that they provide a timeline and give you their honest opinion of order of importance when you have several things that need to get done.

I took my car in for a problem and they couldn't fix it, but I felt like I could fix it, so they gave me the parts and I fixed it myself. They didn't charge me for the parts or anything. I think they handled the situation in a very ethical fashion.
