Can you add transmission fluid through the steering pump on a 2002 745li.

  NO, do not do this
  The power steering fluid uses s fluid called CHF 11s and is not linked to the auto trans fluid system
  The auto trans fluid is a BMW lifetime oil (part number ending in 516) and can only be topped up at your nearest BMW dealer
