The Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS) may falsely activate the brake system. This can cause loss of vehicle control. Dealers will update the CMBS software free of charge to correct the problem.
Acura RLX Recalls
The headlight assembly has an aluminum film applied to the inner reflector. This film my not stick to the reflector as intended causing the film to delaminate. Headlight output can diminish as a result, increasing the risk of a crash. Dealers will replace both headlight assemblies on affected vehicles to correct this concern.
Colder temperatures limit the seat belt mechanism from retracting and extending fully. In addition to maintaining ease of operation when extending a seat belt, proper seat belt retraction creates the necessary tension across a seated passenger, and is a critical to restraint and safety in a crash. Dealers will front replace seat belts to correct this concern.
One lower control arm is used on each side of the rear suspension. These Acura RLX vehicles are being recalled because the bolts mounting the rear lower control arms may be loose. This can result in reduced steering ability, increasing the risk of a crash. Dealers will replace the rear suspension lower control arm bolts to correct this concern.
