Summary: ON CERTAIN PASSENGER VEHICLES, PROLONGED HIGH UNDER-HOOD TEMPERATURES MAY CAUSE THE POWER STEERING HOSE TO DETERIORATE PREMATURELY CAUSING THE HOSE TO CRACK AND LEAK POWER STEERING FLUID.

Honda has recalled 2005 Accord, Odyssey, Acura RL, TL, TSX, and 2006 Ridgeline models because the fuel pump relay may fail. This can prevent the fuel pump from operating, which may cause the engine to stall or not start. Dealers will replace the fuel pump relay.

Acura has recalled 2006 TL vehicles because the bolts that mount the front air bag external impact sensors may be loose. If the sensor bolts fall out, the sensor may not function properly, which may prevent air bag deployment in the event of an accident. Dealers will inspect and re-torque the front air bag external impact sensor bolts.

Honda has recalled 2005 Honda Accord, Odyssey, and Acura TL vehicles because the fuel pump may lose power due to a loose wiring terminal in the main fuse box. If the fuel pump loses power, the vehicle will not start. Dealers will replace the fuse box.

Honda has recalled 1997-2001 Prelude, 1999-2002 Accord, and 1999-2000 Acura TL models because the ignition switch interlock may fail. If this happens, the key will be removable before the engine is in the "Park" position, which could cause the vehicle to roll and crash. Dealers will confirm interlock function and vehicles will receive an updated interlock lever free of charge.
