RepairPal Expert Overview:

Honda has recalled 2001-2003 Civic, 2002-2003 Civic SI, 2001-2002 Accord, 2002 CR-V, 2002 Odyssey, 2003 Pilot, 2002-2003 Acura TL, and 2003 Acura CL vehicles because the driver's side air bag inflator may produce excessive internal pressure. This could cause the inflator to rupture if the air bag deploys. Metal fragments may pass through the air bag material and cause injury to vehicle occupants. Dealers will replace the driver's side air bag inflator.

For Models: Acura MDX

A bolt may be missing from the interior trim on either side of the windshield. This trim can come loose if the side air bags were to deploy, possibly injuring front seat occupants. Dealers will inspect the trim and replace missing bolts as necessary. All owners have been notified and all affected vehicles have been repaired.

Acura has recalled 2004-2005 TL vehicles because the wiper motor may stop working. Water may enter the wiper motor breather port and cause corrosion, which may cause the electrical circuit in the wiper motor to fail. Dealers will replace corroded wiper motors and modifications will be made to prevent water from entering the existing or new wiper motor.

Honda has recalled 2005 Accord, Odyssey, Acura RL, TL, TSX, and 2006 Ridgeline models because the fuel pump relay may fail. This can prevent the fuel pump from operating, which may cause the engine to stall or not start. Dealers will replace the fuel pump relay.
