Potential Loss of Steering Ability
Vehicle steering ability may be reduced due to loose rear lower control arm mounting bolts.
Honda will notify owners of affected vehicles beginning January, 2014. If you don't receive notification you feel you should have, please contact your dealer for further instruction. One lower control arm is used on each side of the rear suspension. These Acura RLX vehicles are being recalled because the bolts mounting the rear lower control arms may be loose. This can result in reduced steering ability, increasing the risk of a crash. Dealers will replace the rear suspension lower control arm bolts to correct this concern.

American Honda Motor Company (Honda) is recalling certain model year 2014 Acura RLX vehicles manufactured August 7, 2012, through November 5, 2013.
Loose rear lower control arm bolts may reduce steering ability, increasing the risk of a crash.
Honda will notify owners, and dealers will replace the rear suspension lower control arm bolts, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin in early January 2014. Customers may contact Honda at 1-800-999-1009. Honda's number for this recall is JD0.
