RepairPal's Assessment: ARautoPro, LLC is the new kid on the block but we were impressed by the committment shown to education this shop has demonstrated. This is a family affair with a formally trained manager, service advisor, and technicians. An investment has been made is some of the industries best automotive tools and computer diagnostic equipment available to aid in the servicing and repair of your late model vehicle. They work on all makes and models but have specialized training with European vehicle service and repairs. One of the things we place a lot of value on when looking for a Top Shop is the long term potiental and trajectory of a shop, meaning: are they setting themselves up to be better in 5 years then they are today. ARauotPro, LLC has demonstrated that it is set up to be a long term asset to the automotive community.

RepairPal's Assessment: We love finding shops that are open on Saturday, but being open on Sunday is almost unheard of. And not only is this shop open seven days a week, they are open until 9pm every day. It doesn't get more convenient than that! At Cardinal Plaza, we found a very dedicated group of technicians who have been together for a long time and have a combined 91 years of experience between them. Three of their five techs are ASE certified and all attend regular training. Cardinal also offers shuttle rides, loaner cars, and the fact that they are a Shell gas station adds a level of convenience you don't see at many shops, earning Cardinal a high score in the Customer Conveniences section of our survey.

The staff at this shop clearly have made a committment to the values and attributes we look for in a Top Shop. 5 of the 6 staff members are ASE Certified, they attend frequent training, and there is a good mix of experienced industry veterans and up and coming ambitious young techncians. Doug the owner requires at least 40 hours of on going training from his staff members, serveral of them exceed this standard year after year. An investment has been made in the automotive tools and computer diagnostic equipment needed to make professional repairs on your late model vehicles. We have set a high bar for shops in our system in terms of training, certification, and tools, tools and equipment, and customer service and Hillmuth of Gaithersburg exceeds these expections.

Chris Coulter and Daniel Howell, the owner, combine for over 50 years of experience. These guys have an extensive well rounded backgrounds in the automotive industry. Chris has managment background and prides himself in the level of customer service he is able to deliver. Daniel has factory training at high end japanese and european car dealerships before gaining more experience at independent shops. They are both involved in the European car community, belonging to various car clubs and teaching performance driving classes. This is a shop that is growing, they have invested in the environment, tools, computer equipment, and on going training that we require of Top Shops in our network.
