When I started it up after the oil change and switch swop The light flashed on then went away for a while. One month later the heater blower motor burnt up, melting the connections and filling the car with black smoke. <br />I'm not sure and kinda doubt that would have anything to do with the oil light coming on and flashing in every way it can (light red,solid red,flashing with light red in the back round,flashing with solid red in the back round) you name it the light has done it! agh!
