AC/heat on 2003 Chevrolet Monte Carlo

My ac/heater will not blow out any air, but I can still feel warm or cold air coming from the vent. I recently had a tire blowout on the driver side, which dented the fender and knocked my signal light out could this have broken the ac/heater fan.

Not likely - It is not uncommon for the blower motor resistor block to fail on 2003 Chevrolet Monte Carlos like yours. The blower motor and resistor block are located under the passenger side of the dash. Proper diagnoses is recommended before replacing any parts!

When I use the heater, I can smell gas (did not smell with AC) and the mileage goes down significantly. I cannot think of any way these two are related but that is what is happening. Please advise.
my monte carlo just heated uo i yhink the fans arent working how long do they take to turn on what gurgles in the radiator
There are 2 cooling fans, the one on the driver's side comes on when engine heats up or if AC is on. The fan on the passenger side does not seem to be running at all. Shouldn't one of the fans run...
