i felt betrayed by Richard's,and their reputation of being one of the best year after year.i recommended them to my parents for their c-class wagon.it was time for the b service.i know for a fact that they did an incomplete job.i also had no assurance that they used mobil-1 as i asked.after the repairs were complete(by the way,they replaced the front brakes w/o prior authorization from my parents-i never said go ahead,and that they said it was okay)i decided to check the engine intake air filters.they were filthy with dirt,debris,and bugs.i ended up replacing them myself.i'm not confident that they checked all the fluids,etc especially the rear differential.their supposed best of has really been a big dissapointment.
My car broke down on Easter Sunday, and the tow truck driver suggested I take my car to Richard's. I ended up having to pay more for the repair I needed than if I had gone to a dealer! I was charged for a standard service fee to determine what the problem was, and because they found it, they should have not charged me for it, as I ended up having the repair done, but they did! I was charged for an hour of labor I didn't need, and I was treated horribly by the manager. I paid my bill, and I will NEVER take my car there ever again!
