Car is spuddering when I accelerate. I have a code of PO128 which told me to change the thermostat which I did and it didn't help. This is what I've been told. Converter needs changed, bad air pump, plugs and wires. Anyone have any ideas?

Catalytic converter, spark plugs, and spark plug wires (among other things) can all cause "spuddering" on acceleration. The AIR pump should not cause the concern, it could however cause the check engine light to turn on. Proper diagnoses will be required in order to determine exactly what will need to be replaced to correct your spuddering issue. Any good technician should be able to tell on a road test if the engine is misfiring (spark plugs or wires) or just has a lack of power (catalytic converter).
