Question: accessory power outlets

Question

Visitor, Novi, MI, February 01, 2011, 13:01

I need to know how to change the power outlets from staying on all the time to shutting off after the engine is turned off. The manual says it can be done but my dealer does not know how.

They are wired that way from the factory. If you want to change it you would have to pull the front of dash and rewire and fuse it to the accessory power. It could be done by my shop. If you would like us to do it just call me and schedule an appointment (313-562-7022).

Do not go to Stan's garage! There are fuses under the hood that you move from one location to another and it is done. One is for the front and the other is for the rear outlet.
