accelerator cable on 2004 Ford Escape

how much will it cost to replace my accelerator cable.

$24 for the throttle cable at the dealer and .6 labor, I can only find the cable at the dealer

I went and had the problem taken care of and the information given was dead on. It cost less than $50 to solve my problem . Thank You !

I was leaving from work and the accelerator pedal went to the floor. The ccable is no longer connected to the top end of the pedal arm. Is this a common Ford Escape problem?? It's under warranty...
The accelerator does not seem to be connected to anything. I drove the car and everything was fine, 20 minutes or so later I went to drive it again and the accelerator was to the floor like it wasn...
When I step on my accelerator i have to pat on it about 3 to 4 times , and then it will start to run just fine.
it just started and i really need some assistance asap.
My throttle hung wide open was able to get it. In neutral n the e brake on was wondering if it would be covered under the recall
