Question: Acceleration problems with 1990 Geo Tracker

Why does my 1990 Tracker (4 cylinder) only accelerate to 15 mph upon startup and resume normal functions after driving it 15-20 minutes?

    I would see about replacing ther fuel filter. I've had cars do this in the past until the fuel cleans a place in the filter temporarily. Can't hurt....should replace the filter every 30,000 miles anyway.
