 Rookie

It will not engage when I turn it on. It turns on when it wants. I had it check for leaks when I had it recharged. They use dye when checking for leaks. When it turns on it works great. I have replaced the blower motor and the on switch.

  There can be several things that can allow or prohibit the A/C compressor from turning on, and it varies from vehicle to vehicle. If the system is full of refrigerant, then all the inputs and outputs to the control module that controls the compressor the compressor needs to be checked.

• AC unit
  My AC is blowing hot air. I just have it serviced and recharge last summer. Everything was working, no leaks and was able to take charge. Now when I go to turn it on it will not blow cool, just hot...

• what causes the Ac blower to stop working? It comes on sometimes for 30 seconds.
  Air conditioning blower has stopped working. It will come on for a second when you start the car at times. Then cuts off.
