had system charged and when driving it stops blowing cold and blows cold for awhile. it will stop and start blowing cold while driving

Thermosistor is bad, It blows cold for a few minutes then no more cold air for a few hours.

I had a similar problem with my Civic Si. Turns out that the A/C system was a little undercharged. I had the system fully evacuated and fully recharged to the proper level and haven't had a problem since. Also be cautious. Over charging a R134a system can cause a similar problem as well.
