2011 Volkswagen Tiguan Q&A

2011 Volkswagen Tiguan Question: A/C started throwing warm air and then it overheated. Turned air off and was ok

sitting in traffic and ac started turning warm air and then alarms sounded that engine was overheating. shut the ac off and the engine went back to normal temps. Had the vehicle year and a half and this never happened before. -
Answer 1
Have engine cooling fan(s) checked for proper operation. If they are not working , then as the engine gets to hot it will automatically shut the a/c down due to it's own system getting to hot and overpressure. -
Answer 2
POSS COOLING FAN ISSUES OR PLUGGED DEBRY BETWEEN RAD AND A/C CONDENSOR. SHOULD BE UNDER WARRANTY -
