a/c problems on 2006 Chrysler 300

My a/c blows warm when its idling and cool when im on the road. It is set all the way cold. And sometimes all of a sudden it starts blowing very hot air for a couple of minutes then goes back to being cool (not cold). It only blows cold sometimes at night.

You'll need to have a shop look at this to know what that cause is for sure. It may just be low on refrigerant, but you that can only be determined by removing the refrigerant and measuring how much is in the system. There may be other issues as well, like an electrical problem with a temperature/pressure sensor, cooling fan r a/c compressor.
