Question: Ac problem 95 f150

 Rookie

My ac unit was smoking real bad.i guess i burned up my condensor or clutch so my buddy unpluggedsomething and said i could still drive and use the defrost.i was just woundering if he was right

  Most likelly he unpluged the A/C compressor . In this case the compressor will not turn on even if the defrost iss turned on.

  So does that mean i can drive it and use my defrost and heat cause before he unpluged it the little wheel thing in front under the hood was smoking so bad it almost caught fire

  The wheel thing I am assuming is the AC condensor pulley. If that is what is smoking you probably have a really bad bearing in there. You should get it taken care of very soon as the belt will keep turning this and grinding it up whether AC unit is plugged in or not.

  What happens if ur ac clutch seizes up.i got A 95 f150 and i think its the clutch but under hood where the triangle wheel is that has the rubber garmits almost started on fire.can i still drive by ...

• smell antifreeze inside truck and windshield fogs up when heater is on.....
  I think its the heater core, is this correct??? I don't know much about repairing it, but is it a major and expensive repair job????
