Question: AC is charged but dash AC will not start compressor

My dash computer for the ac SUDDENLY STARTED switching back to econ. It will not start the AC and we recharged it. Any idea why it won't allow the AC to start when dash AC button is pucshed?

    You must clear the fault code before the A/C will work again. Disconnect the battery for 30 seconds to clear the codes and then retry the A/C operation.

    try checking the fuse thats located under the hood on the drivers side. Mine was blown keeping the compressor clutch from coming on
