All air conditioning systems have compressors. All compressors have clutches.
However, the compressor clutch is only one of many system components. And the frequency of the clutch failing is far less than other components.
Have a system test done - check refrigerant level, system pressures and check for leaks. If the system is intact with refrigerant, then you will have to test for power to and from the cycle switch and to the coil on the compressor.
Have a qualified section 609 (EPA: A/C certification) certified technician evaluate your vehicle.
