Probably R-12, depending on what month in 1993 your car was built. The bad, you have to have an EPA issued liscense to buy and use it legally, plus a set of guages. You can convert to R134A pretty easily and cheaply, however. The good- R134A can be bought legally by anyone without a liscense at any parts store or WalMart. The bad- a little less efficient than R-12. Personally, I'd use it. I've had good luck with it.
