A/C Evaporator on 1994 Mercedes-Benz C220

I'm not getting any cold air in my A/C my mechanic just informed me that maybe it is the evaporator. How much this will cost and is it worth to fix this.

The c220 has air filter located below the globe compartment on the passenger side. The filter must be cleaned every quarter or replace if necessary.
You can find the cost for the evaporator replacement here: http://repairpal.com/estimator?car_type_id=1292
Had the same issues myself, since system is composed of compressor, receiver dryer, and expansion valve I found it easier to replace all. If further questions mail me at rilla@ onramp113. Com. Good luck!
