A/C dryer on 2005 Ford Escape

Is it necessary to replace A/C dryer when replacing A/C compressor motor?

It is good insurance the dryer is cheap and the system is already evacuated.

I would say yes. there is a moisture bag in them and if you are replacing a compressor you should replace the dryer as well not to mention most manufactures wont warrenty the compressor if it fails again if the dryer was not replaced.
