1998 Cadillac DeVille Question: ac compressor not engaging

ac will not come on, refrigerant full, no power at compressor relay, only power at one terminal on compressor relay

    Have you tried supplying power to the compressor and see if it engages if not the compressor clutch has a problem. If it does engage
    you will have to do some diagnostic tests and follow trouble shooting flow charts. You will need a wiring diagram, good volt/ohm meter and information. Alldata is probably the best source for information. The information is year make and model specific repair procedures, service bulletins, component locations, wiring diagrams ect....     yes i have powered up compressor with my power probe 3 throught the relay termanal and it workes poperly, and cools , i am woundering does the control head sent power to the other ac compresssor termanal at the relay thanks aabjr
