1999 Ford Taurus Question: AC blows air but it is not cold at all

 Rookie

Took it in to a shop the tested the vacuum and said that it was just fine as well as the freon is full

    might look down at the compressor. these were bad to burn the clutch up on the compressor. compressor is on bottom of engine. stand at passenger side look down at belt follow it at front of engine to bottom. compressor there. usually rusty on front if burnt up.

    There are a lot of reasons the air could not be cold including but not limited to, electrical power supply to compressor, orifice tube, compressor failure and much more.
