My a/c controls done work properly anymore.It doesn't light up,no defrost.I believe the vacuum lines were cut.

My Montana has 150,000 miles on it, after I drive it say 200 miles and it gets hot. The transmission starts shifting hard? Does a chip controll this? On short hops it runs fine.
