abs system on 1998 Pontiac Sunfire

I want to unplug the abs system. Will this cause a problem

Its not a good idea to disconnect the ABS system your car was designed to have ABS. If the car was ever involved in an accident your insurance company may have issues as you would have "modified the brakes".

You can just pull the fuse for it -- easy to turn back on when you want it back.
