ABS Pump on 2002 Hyundai Santa Fe

My dealer just told me that my ABS pump shorted. The brake light came on a few days ago. He said it has to be replaced at a cost of $2100. Does this seem right to anyone out there? Also, is the car safe to drive.Any info. would really be appreciated. Thanks. Bob. K.

OK I found that your Santa Fe has 2 relays available (abs power relay and abs pump motor relay) that needs to be checked before replacing anything and I found the abs hydraulic units here www.parts.com put in your vehicles info, then click on brakes, then anti lock I think I would get another opinion you can find a shop here www.repairpal.com/directory Hope this helps
