Question: ABS Module

This item is not working on my car. It goes on when the car is warmed up but not moving. If it is cold, the dashboard light ABS/Brakes don't go on until it is warmed up. The repair is expensive--is it possible to have this ABS thing removed? I didn't have it on my last car and had no problems.

It isn't so much as removing the ABS brakes from your car that is an issue their is too much liability involved (ie a garage would be modifying your brakes). If it is the ABS module that is the problem a company called Fuel Injection Corporation in Livermore CA that repair those computers very reasonable. You can take out the ECU they will test and repair the module. First have the system checked out by a mechanic and if the ECU is found to be bad remove it and send it out to be repaired (you don't have to buy a new module).
