The cost of the repair will depend on what the fault is. When the ABS light comes on a fault codes will be set in the ABS control module. A scan tool is necessary to read the stored code. The fualt code is the best clue as to what the fault could be. The ABS system will need to be diagnosed based on the code. Once you have the diagnoses check the repairpal website for an estimate for the cost of the repair.

sounds like you have a bad sensor usually the passenger side wheel sensor. if not the sensor then the computer is throwing a bad code out.

if your wheel bearing is too worn it usually sets your abs light on.do you have bad wheel bearings?if not check electrical connectors to wheel sensors!hope this helps.
