2004 Nissan Maxima Question: abs light stays on....

Is the kicking getting worse? Does it kick when going from 1rpm to 2rpm & then from 2rpm to 1rpm? Or when changing from Drive to Reverse & Reverse to Drive? My 04 max started doing the same kicking at about 66,000 miles & got worse to the point it felt like someone hit me from behind when I came to a stop. It is a VIOLENT jerking...after many failing attempts at repairing problem I finally had to put in new transmission. Unfortunately Nissan will not own up to the problem! You are looking at a few thousand dollars!!! :(
I just filed a complaint with the National BBB on USA Site...Others should do the same. Over 100,000+ complaints on review websites yet Nissan does Nothing!!!

I'm right there with ya brother, getting transmission rebuilt right now. The parts are $2200 and the labor $825, but it was Veterans' Day so I'm down to $375 for labor. I too filed a claim on the site, maybe I can get a refund.
