Question: Abs light is on . What does that mean. The car is running fine.

 Rookie

just bought car. And has no owner manuel, cant figure out why the abs light is on. Anyone know? HELP :)

    The computer has detected a problem with a component in the ABS system. It turns the light on and disables the ABS system and turns the light on to inform the driver to have the ABS system inspected and fault codes diagnosed. I recommend you take it in and have it diagnosed.
