ABS light is on on 1995 BMW 740i

any suggestion whether it can be adjusted electronically or the ABS has a problems, my brakes are not working properly either

If you have an ABS light on, then you have an ABS System fault. You need to have the ABS system scanned for codes. There is, without a doubt a problem. If you can't talk to the ABS Computer, it is often because the Power Supply inside the ABS Computer is worn out, which means that the Module must be replaced. I hope that this is not the problem because it is an expensive repair. this scanning must be done with a BMW capable scanner, not by a parts store. Good Luck!
