The anti-lock brake system (ABS) front wheel speed sensors are prone to failure. When a sensor fails, the ABS warning light may illuminate and/or the ABS system may activate erratically.

The ABS light came on after hitting the brakes. Now the truck started pulling to the right and the brake pads on the right front wear 3 times as fast as the left pads. Also
the inside of the front right tire goes bald even after 3 different shops did a wheel alignment. The right calipers have been replace twice and the lines were blown out to see if there was a blockage with no help. I was told the fix is:
$1800.00 for a new ABS unit. The wiring into the ABS unit WILL short out. Since the unit is not working, the computer ports fluid evenly to both sides and since the unit is out, the ports some times sticks which will cause the fluid to go more to one side then the other.
