my car doing the same thing why is that??
I still don't know. happened the other day. don't think a "warning" but it says "traction control active" I think. happens so fast and so rare I can't remember!!!
Check All fluids esp. engine oil.You didn't say how many miles on car.Rattle on cold start sounds like bearing trouble.
what does engine oil have to do with traction control light?
Must have responded to the wrong question FIVE MONTHS AGO!! But after reading, engine rattle on cold start well maybe it does apply after all! Wow.
didn't mean to sound smart ---! I'm old school and figured anything possible with computer cars. just found this site and have a similar problem. not a warning message, but every few months the traction light comes on momentarily, with an odd (wrrrrr) sound while slowly leaving the driveway. the rt front bearing and hub were replaced in the past. could the sensor in it have anything to do with this if it goes bad? It all good! The problem with your car is most likely an ABS wheel speed sensor, when the Antilock Brake System fails so does the Trac. control. Scanner will reveal which sensor is at falt.
Thanks. Merry Christmas to you as well
