Question: a clicking sound in the stearing column

I hear a clicking sound on moving the stearing wheel, it comes and goes and is very bothering. I have 10k milage. Is this serious??

    Could be the cable reel - or sliding contact - in the steering wheel making noise. This is the electrical connection that gets power to the air bag and steering wheel switches. May have an issue, or may just be annoying. Not sure.

    I had the same noise. Took it to the dealer and they replaced my column for free under warranty. They said its not a recall but its a bulletin for them.
