Question: 97 4.3 v6 It ran yesterday next morning, it cranks over pops & sputters

cleaned rotor & cap contacts, has spark. replaced fuel pump summer2011, now check engine light is on

    check the fuel pressure irregardless of when you replaced the pump. it still may have failed.

    check your spark at the plugs as well.
    was the light on before it stopped running??
