Hello, Mazda recommends checking the timing belt every 60,000 miles, and replacing the belt every 105,000 miles. I can't find a time interval, but most manufacturers recommend around 6 - 7 years of use before needing the belt replaced. You will no doubt hit the time interval before the mileage, so you will want to have that done before the 105,000 miles service. Since the 60,000 and 90,000 mile services can be expensive, I would do it at 75,000 miles, just to space out your maintenance costs.
